IWB recommendation for HK p2000sk

Post by jecsd1 »

Hello all. I am looking for a IWB holster for my HK p2000sk. I currently have a Kydex IWB from http://www.peterscustomholsters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I like it. However I just find it not suitable for the warmer weather times of year. It has a tendency to make the butt of the pistol stick out and be visible through the shirt. Because of this I am almost forced to carry at the 5-6 o clock position. I find myself being relegated to my trusty 5 shot J frame pocket gun in the Summer. I LOVE my HK and want to have the option to carry it with shorts and t shirt. I would love a tuckable that I could carry at about 3 o clock. Any suggestions? Thanks! Jason

Hello jecsd1

It seems that the IWB holster you're using now does not allow for adjustment for depth and cant.

If you go with a Crossbreed or similar IWB holster you can adjust the gun as high or low
as you want and also for forward cant. This will allow for much greater concealment.

Comp-Tac's CTAC and MTAC models are adjustable for cant and depth, and their turn-around time is less than two weeks.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into those. The one I have is adjustable but I have the depth maxed out and it's still pretty high. I seem to like them to ride pretty low.

Same here.
With a Crossbreed you can set it up to where the gun (depending on what gun you have) is almost completely inside the pants if you want.

Ditto. I carried a USP Compact .40 in mine while I had the gun. It worked out just fine.

Another vote for a Crossbreed! I carry my P2000 and P2000sk in a Crossbreed.
