DPS Trooper Killed(MVA)

Post by CainA »

I'm surprised noone posted this yet(I looked, maybe it has been?):

It's sad...especially when they(law enforcement officers) have young child(ren).

It is always sad. Trooper or not.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I was aware of this as it is not far (About 80 miles) from the town I live. Its always sad when anyone is killed in any way, especially when they were going to help someone else, and to make matters worse he left a wife and child behind in this world.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Sad indeed. I can't help but wonder why that story ran on a Tyler TV station that is some 500 miles from Lubbock.

Incidentally, that same Tyler TV station will air the results of a poll it took on concealed guns on campus at 10:00 tonight. Their poll did not use the word "licensed" in the polling question.

EDIT:

It was the other Tyler TV station (19) not Channel 7 that ran the poll on campus CW.
