Warhammer's newest creation

Post by fecnik »

After talking about kahrs for a while to Mr. Warhammer, i stumbled onto his holster threads. Admiring his work, I asked if he would make me a holster and a mag holder....

The result...

My first impression when I got the holster was pure astonishment on the quality. He wasn't kidding when said he puts every attention to detail. It was flawless. The edges are smooth, the stitching is perfect and the gun fits perfectly! It has an easy draw..not too much tension but enough so the gun wont fall out. I can honestly say that I prefer this holster over the supertuck...anyday.

He provided me with the "J" style clips and the clips that wrap around the belt. I plan on getting one made for my 1911...bye bye supertuck.

If you are local (DFW), he will probably make one for you. He just needs your gun to make the kydex mold. Again, I highly recommend one of his holsters!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm really glad you like it so much. It's cool how close the holster finish matches the color of your gun belt. Can you post a pic of you wearing the mag holder?

Great work on the holster, but just looking at the pic for IWB, looks uncomfortable (Just sayin') so that is why this fat boy likes OWB for carry?

I like the high cut of the leather on the holster. I'm getting tired of the butt of my gun rubbing skin. My guess is it also helps with grip sweat/moisture issues too.

Nice work WH. Placing my knifekit order this week.

Betcha I'm fatter 'n both you and USA1 put together, and I like IWB carry. The only reason I switch around between IWB and OWB is that I have chronic back issues, and sometimes changing the holster eases the pain. Sometimes it's the IWB holster that eases the pain, and sometimes it's the OWB holster that eases the pain.

Dont make me out-fat you!

Warhammer,

Do you have a site (or other examples, I'm always interested in OWB holsters) where we can look at more of your work including pricing?

Thanks!

Sorry, no website yet. What I do is custom make each holster, for the gun and to your specifications. No mass production, one-size-fits-many; I'm all about the details and building exactly what you want. I got stated making these because nobody else made exactly what I wanted. So, I'm just going to continue that line of thinking and make holsters that are exactly what the buyer wants. I'm working on a couple of OWB designs right now, but don't have them ready to go yet. I'll certainly post what I make for the forum to see. The set pictured above was $80 for the holster and $30 for the mag carrier, fully to Fecnik's specs, with regular and j-hooks included.

Cheers!

Not really sure about that but I too have back issues, 3 surgeries to no avail, then I've had my left hip replaced, now on Nov 1 I'm having the right one replaced so it sure does not help for me with the IWB that is why I'm going with OWB.

Some of us fat boys like in the waist band carry, the fat roll pins the gun in the holster for extra retention! "rlol"
