My Daughter's School is Great!

Post by C-dub »

Today, a Native American Indian classmate of my daughter's brought a real bow and arrow to school for show-n-tell. She said the arrow had erasure on the tip for safety. Now for the amazing parts. The child was not suspended and the police did show up and place the school on lock-down. The kids got to see a real Indian's bow and arrow.

What, no SWAT team, no school lockdown,no armed officer on duty to save the day, that's just so unlike schools today.
I love the sound smell of jet fuel in the morning.

I know! I'm beginning to think that before she graduates I may be able to carry in the school with written permission. Not going to hold my breath, but with this lack of a zero tolerance policy there is still hope.

If you are feeling brave, send you daughter to school with a Mosin-Nagant with an eraser on the tip the bayonet...

I made a bow and arrow and took it to school when I was in junior high.
Nothing happened except a teacher coming out and telling me and a friend to quit shooting it outside of the school library.

I'm guessing nowadays, there would be a lockdown, suspension, etc at my old school.

It's good to know there are still some schools that aren't brainwashed.

It would probably be more along the lines of one of those .22LR or .177 varmint rifles with the pink stock and front grip I've seen at BassPro, but still not that brave.
