The man who is responsible for the historic concealed handgun law, Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, will be the featured speaker at the Llano County Republican Club’s December 7th Tuesday meeting at the Community Center in Kingsland. Mr. Patterson also authored other major legislative successes, including the constitutional amendment allowing a home equity lending, the strategic coastal management plan, and the creation of the Texas State Veterans Home Program. He chaired the first Veterans Affairs committee during his tenure in the Texas Senate.
Commissioner Patterson is a much sought after speaker and continues to charm audiences with his quick wit and knowledge of the history of the State of Texas.
