Hilton Houston - Post Oak

Post by bnc »

Does anyone know if the Hilton at Post Oak in Houston is still posted? It is according to Texas3006, just wondering if it might have changed since the entry there was made.

How soon do you need to know (I'm assuming you've got a trip planned there soon?)

I work close to there and could swing by and look on Monday...I try to stay out of that part of town during the holidays if I can (traffic and all)

I appreciate the offer, but I'm in the area, so I can do that as well. I'm actually just going there for a few hours for an event, and I think the parking garage there is fine. (Don't want to drive around downtown naked)

It's still posted as of two weeks ago. White letters on clear glass if I remember correctly. I was there Dec. 1-3.

Are clear glass and white "contrasting colors?" (Not that I suggest testing it.)

I'd like for anyone willing to test it, to try a defense of "clear is not a color, and the law requires contrasting colors", and let us know how that works out for you. Of course, I'm not willing to finance the endeavor, I just want to know the results.

I ignored black letters on clear glass at the JCC. The glass has been replaced with just clear glass, with no sign around, at least at the main entrance. Haven't been to other entrances. Don't get me wrong: I wasn't looking to get caught as a test case, just decided to ignore the sign.
