Quick story: We have a locker room at work, with the showers and locker room separated from the bathroom by a door. I opened the door from the showers to the bathroom one day to see a man using one of the urinals. The first thing that I noticed about him was his shirt, a 5.11 covert casual. I briefly considered mentioning that I had the same shirt, but by that point realized that the man was not looking down at all, he had his head spun around as far as he could without turning his body to look at me with a very surprised and serious look. When I saw his earpiece, I realized that he was part of an executive protection detail, and I had come out of a door that he hadn't anticipated someone would be exiting. He had plenty of other backup spread throughout our building and campus, but I suspect he checked the room that I came out of before exiting the locker room.i8godzilla wrote:When armed, the place I feel most vulnerable is the public restroom. Your back is normally to the door. You do not always have a free hand. Looking around at everyone coming in and out could cause other 'issues'.

1)Work - policy prevents carry, though not with any legal consequences.
2/3) I am slowly and incrementally pushing for a change in policy.
