More TSA nonsense. Pilot ccw permit confiscated

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

More TSA nonsense. Pilot ccw permit confiscated

Post by Bennies »

Don't tell the truth about the TSA or the thugs might come and take your ccw permit in California. What is crazy is that the aircraft I fly the crash ax is in plane sight for anyone to see during boarding. I do not know what the big secret is?

I understand the feds revoking his fed FFDO status but what authority does a fed JBT have to confiscate a state license?

Exactly. That is the point I really don't understand. I also thought what he video taped was also public knowledge but I guess not.

criticize the SS...err, I mean TSA, and this is what happens.

I wonder how much longer this will go on before Americans revolt...and not just in the polls.

As long as Y'all keep electing career politicians for whom getting re-elected is a higher priority than serving the public, nothing will change.

I tell a lie. Things will change - for the worse.

Good point. This is retaliation against a whistleblower. How Barack Obama and his direct report, Eric Holder, respond to fed employees retaliating against this whistleblower will speak volume about their character and morals.

You don't really think fed employee morale has been above barely measurable over the past couple years?
Good thing the CIC hasn't been listening to hallway conversations -- oh, wait, he has people to do that for him, that's why there was/is a gag order on any political discussions at federal agencies, well beyond the Hatch Act.

I wasn't aware that either of them had either (character or morals).

Since when is there a legal basis for anything that the Feds do? The FCC was told by a court not to implement the Net Neutrality policy and they voted to do it anyway. Wanna talk about Obamacare?

Would all who still believe that the TSA, as an organization, is still a benign, "only protecting people" entity, please raise your hands?

I think the local sheriff's dept took his state license. They had a real party at his house.

Yep...
At the same time as the federal marshals took the pilot's gun, a deputy sheriff asked him to surrender his state-issued permit to carry a concealed weapon.
But that still doesn't explain the justification.

The County Sheriff's office did that "little" bit of malpractice of justice.

That's the problem with living in a state with may-issue CCW. Your permit is issued at the sheriff's discretion, and he can revoke it for any reason he pleases.
