Thanks. I tried to call them this morning and could nowhere at all. Endless recorded loop. I sent my renewal in November, received a receipt weeks ago, but the web site still shows it is waiting for paperwork. Maybe I will have it back before the page is fixed.

Well, if they are gone ... think they'd mind if I ran in an used their computer for a minute?

Just renewed my driver's license. Sign said they would be closed Thursday through the holiday, re-open the 27th.

A state office closed 5 calendar days for a religious holiday??? Horrors!

Where is the ACLU when you need them?

When you click "Login to check status", the next-to-last item under Returning Users is "Check the status of a current application."

They've likely closed to avoid paying employees and to save state money.

I logged in and saw the same thing. Perhaps that means your application has been processed and there is no active application in the system. In the mail maybe?

It hasn't worked in weeks. I sent my renewal via Certified Mail. Arrived and signed for in late November. I've checked the web page from time to time and it has never changed. Mine might be in the mail as well, but I doubt it, and the old one is good for a few months so I'm not worried.

The online status update has been down for some time now. I sent in my paperwork on Nov. 22nd and received my plastic in the mail on Dec 13th. Site still says waiting for receipt of required documents.

Well a happy surprise. Sent the renewal on the day before Thanksgiving and the new license arrived on Christmas eve. Less than 4 weeks for processing!!
