I purchased the CompTac settable cant OWB holster for my Glock 19 which I carry regularly. I thought it would be a good way to find what would work, so I purchased the both paddle & belt accessories.

I was able to try a lot of different options; the thing can be set to so many different angles with both accessories. I experimented with both, all around my belt, and at nearly every angle that it would allow- and it allows a very wide range of angles.

I've settled on the setting that works for me pretty much all the time; the belt accessory with a forward cant. I carry with the holster at "2:30," just forward of my right hip. It's very comfortable, and by dressing in loose shirts or jackets, I've never been "outed." I wear it on a 1.5" plain black leather belt that I purchased at Shepler's.

The only thing that won't conceal it is a single pull-over shirt, like a t-shirt. I typically wear a "wife-beater" undershirt that I tuck in to keep the metal of the grip from getting uncomfortable against my skin, then an untucked t-shirt, plus a loose, untucked shirt over it. If you don't button the outer shirt, it's nearly invisible. I've found that dark colors work best, and it will also work with an unbuttoned suit jacket or sport coat that has an untucked shirt over the holster & firearm.

I purchased an Uncle Mike's IWB nylon holster for occasions that need the extra invisibility of an IWB holster; but I've been able to dress in a way that conceals the CompTac for every occasion with my Glock 19 for over a year now.

It's a quality holster, and fits my Glock 19 perfectly. It has a firm, reassuring "click" when it's fully holstered, and you can adjust the holster's grip on your firearm. I didn't need to adjust that at all from the factory.

HarleyDave- You asked about a Comp-Tac holster that was leather lined and OWB. They have a new holster called the "Gladiator" that is OWB and is leather on the inside and kydex on the outside. I have no experence with this holster but have many Comp-tac holsters and belts and they make good stuff.

I just received a Comp-Tac newsletter today, and they are offering a 10% off everything on their site coupon code for today through the 31st of December, 2010. Here's the coupon code:

EOY-1210

Seems like a good time to buy one, if you were planning to do it anyway.

Raven has a huge, well-deserved following and are worth the wait.

I don't think you will get much rust on a stainless ultra in a leather holster. Especially if you wipe it with a silicone cloth (one designed for stainless) or at least with some CLP once in a while. While the ultras are pretty, keep
in mind, it is a tool, sort of like a beat up, well made, hammer. Ride it hard and put it up wet, if you will.
