You can now order CHL law books from DPS

Post by infoman »

You can now order the CHL law books from DPS for $5 each (plus tax). Here is a link to the order form that you must mail in to DPS with the money.

Just found this out on the website.

:iagree:
and it's free, I keep it on my desktop for referenc and study. If I want a hard copy I can just print it out on my work computer, we are a very gun friendly company  any time someone gets something new or comes across amything cool they bring it for show and tell.

Thanks, I do like to keep a hard copy in the car ... and mine's the older version, like pre-2007 or something.

I printied the entire newer book, but didn't care for the paper size ... the book itself tucks away nicely.

I wonder if they removed the text from the front cover where it says "No Charge".

I really meant to mention this for people that don't have computers/internet, or simply don't want to print so many pages off, etc. It's costly, but there may be some instructors out there that may want to have the little booklets handy to give out to students at the classes too. A lot of older people in Texas don't know much about computers or may not even have internet. (my grandma being a great example)

When you print from Adobe Reader, you can use the "Page Scaling" option to print 2 pages per sheet, making each page 5.5 x 8.5. I use the "Booklet Printing" option and a two-sided printer to make the same booklet DPS prints.
