He was rejected because he failed the urine test. If you used drugs in the past but pass the urinalysis you will still be accepted. Its the urinalysis failure that gets you rejected not the past use of drugs.

more disturbing the push to ban assault weapons? What this had to do with the Tuscon incident? Some lawmakers are now talking like idiots. Have they heard that 2A is an individual right?

Since our current president has admitted to using drugs he should have been disqualified for the most powerful office in the world. He has more power to kill more people than Mr. Loughner did.

One theory about why Loughner shaved his head including his eyebrows was to prevent drug testing of his hair.
If anyone is raped, beaten or murdered on a college campus from this day forward
The senators who blocked SB 354 from being considered on 4/7/11 and
The members of the house calendar committee who haven't scheduled HB 750
Have the victims' blood on their hands.

And even then unless he shaves constantly I'm sure someone could find a hair or stub of a whisker to test. Even after I shave it looks like a need a shave...

Shaving does no good. If they want a hair sample bad enough, they will get it from somewhere on your body. Besides, even if he showed up for a hair follicle drug test and made a blatant attempt to shave every hair on his body, that is a HUGE red flag and surely they could disqualify him until they were able to obtain a sample.

According to the article, Charles Schumer wants a rule passed and enforced, not a law but a rule change. Anyone who admits to a Federal Officer that they have used illegal drugs should be reported and placed on the FBI’s fail list for firearm purchases.

I don’t understand the “Admits to a Federal Officer” part. Does that mean that Oboma, Bill Clinton and many other people like some congressmen will not be able to purchase a firearm? Or maybe they will be OK because they only admitted drug use to the general public and not to a federal officer during or after their campaigns.

Those congressmen are clever, aren't they?

Not only that but we all know that they are above the laws and rules.
