I believe the rights under the constitution apply to everyone inside the United States legal or even illegally here.

I know you can't sell guns to non-citizens
There are 3 (at least) categories of non-citizen residents and the rules are not the same for all:

1. permanent residents (aka resident aliens - ie. green card holders)
2. temporary residents (work/school visas)
3. illegal aliens

Don't forget to review U.S. Code Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 44 when it comes to possession/transfer of a firearm. Looking at Texas law alone is insufficient.

I was coming in here to mention that. It doesn't appear to be agains the law to for us to take a legal non-resident alien to the range, since the law only prohibits "disposing" of a firearm to them:
18 USC §922(d)
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person—
(5) who, being an alien—
(A) is illegally or unlawfully in the United States; or
(B) except as provided in subsection (y)(2), has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (as that term is defined in section 101(a)(26) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 (a)(26)));
This subsection shall not apply with respect to the sale or disposition of a firearm or ammunition to a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector who pursuant to subsection (b) of section 925 of this chapter is not precluded from dealing in firearms or ammunition, or to a person who has been granted relief from disabilities pursuant to subsection (c) of section 925 of this chapter.
It does appear that it may be illegal for a legal non-resident alien to shoot at a range though:
18 USC §922(g)
It shall be unlawful for any person—
((5) who, being an alien—
(A) is illegally or unlawfully in the United States; or
(B) except as provided in subsection (y)(2), has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (as that term is defined in section 101(a)(26) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 (a)(26)));
to ship or transport in interstate or foreign commerce, or possess in or affecting commerce, any firearm or ammunition; or to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.
This is the same section that prohibits felons, fugitives, etc., to possess firearms.

The most applicable subsection (y)(2) exception allows for possession of firearms by a nonresident alien if admitted for hunting or sporting purposes or if in possession of a valid hunting license.

Speaking of federal law not Texas law:
- Green card = same as American citizen for transfer or possession
- Non resident visa = must have hunting license except at range or direcxt control of legal person
- Felon = lifetime ban on possession of knowing constructive possession of gun or ammo

Just want to add as far as firearm law, citizen and green card holders are treated the same at both federal and state level.

For legal immigrants, as long as you have a hunting license, then it is the same as citizen.

For illegals, big no no.
