I interpret that as firearms still being available or folks didn't give the ones that they had up in the first place.

These statistics cannot possibly be correct because guns are banned in Britain. Surely the correct number must be zero for each year, because passing laws prohibiting guns keeps them out of criminals' hands.

Thanks for the info and the link.

Went to the link looking for the same data, but historical - since the handgun ban was instituted in 1997, I was interested in tends before and after. Could not find anything that old.

If you come across such, please point it out. Thanks!
