WTB: Gun range bag

Post by grad_Student »

Anyone have an older gun range bag they want to sell? I figure I can get something higher quality at a used price for the same as a crappy quality bag.

I don't have a used one to sell, but I ordered this one from Midway: Competition Range Bag.

For $40, it's going to be hard to beat. It's almost big enough to hold a small child and has pockets galore. It's also very well made.

I grabbed a simple AWP bag from Lowe's for $20. Doesn't say "GUN!" by the initial looks, just "TOOLS!"

Thought about grabbing a fishing tackle bag but tool bag sounds good too.

I've got 4 or 5 of the Midway ones Pawpaw recommended and one other (high dollar) bag that I don't remember the brand on. The Midway bag is just as good as the higher priced one (in my opinion, YMMV) and cost alot less. It was only after buying the high dollar one that I found the Midway's. I bought mine several years back when Midway had them "On Sale" for $30.00 but they are still a great bag, even at $40.00.

Check out Tommy's Gun Pack. They make good gear for reasonable prices.

That is a sweet looking bag for a good price!

Do they have anything else on sale this weekend? I just joined their mailing list, but would like to know what else they have going right now.

Dang! I was hoping they would be having a deal on the EXPLORER Pro-K Rangemaster Duo. I want one really bad!

Thanks for the reply though!

Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up going with a bag I found at Academy. As far as I can tell, it is the exact same bag that Midway sells that some of y'all suggested just branded "Academy". It is absolutely massive and carries more than I have right now but that just gives me an excuse to buy more stuff

YUP, Midway bag and Academy bag are the same. Only issue I have with my Midway bag is the strap does not stay locked and slides as I carry it around. But the bag is nice and works well.
