If the Healthcare Bill is enacted and full national computerized records are made available to various agencies it will be a gun issue when information in your medical records is used against your ability to own a firearm. This crowd will use regulations to get around the Constitution and the second amendment; Obamacare is a minefield of regulations.

The above, plus something will have to be done with the deadbeat sick, old and uninsured; somebody may have to shoot 'em.

Sounds like a whole bunch of "ifs" and conspiracy theories to me. Hopefully the states that are filing motions to deem the healthcare package unconstitutional are successful and it goes away.

Someone will still have to do something about all of the old deadbeat sickos running around in tatters. I say let the young insured guys with jobs shoot us.

If you really feel that way, you should have moved to a socialist country when you were working. You didn't do that. You stayed in the USA and enjoyed the benefits of capitalism. It's reprehensible to turn around now and try to deny the benefits of capitalism to subsequent generations.

For a classical perspective, I refer you to Aesop's story about the ants and the grasshopper.

"..."woulda, coulda, shoulda" doesn't resolve the problem of the cadaver lined streets of this utopia that no longer has old deadbeat sickos running around in tatters.

There's still time to catch a plane.

Think back, if there's no money for insurance; there's probably no money for airplane tickets. However, if the government would quit trying to buy friends in third world countries and instead use that money to send America's indigent to the third world countries, that just might work? America's indigents would be rich by comparison and America would be rid of old deadbeat sickos.

Good idea! :clapping:

No, we don't need the government making decisions. Watch this.

I'll give you the last word, then we'll end this silliness. (sound familiar?)

Only in America do we look at overfed people with color televisions and cell phones and call it poverty.

"cadaver lined streets" Really?

Anyway, that's no problem. It's "green". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML6oLuLecQ4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (warning: rated PG)

Call me a conspiracy nut, but I don't doubt it for a minute.

I'm not going to call anybody names on this website. If folks want to believe that the healthcare bill will somehow lead to gun control thats fine. The issue I have is that if you believe this will be the case with this piece of lesgislation you'll probably believe it can happen with any piece of lesgislation. This will open up everything that comes out of Washington DC for discussion on this website. There are plenty of other websites out there for topics such as these..
