Title just says political issues. Maybe the Moderator can weigh in? I would imagine anything political can lead to more gun control issues. The more they get away with the more they will try to do, it is never enough.

If you really feel that way, you should have moved to a socialist country when you were working. You didn't do that. You stayed in the USA and enjoyed the benefits of capitalism. It's reprehensible to turn around now and try to deny the benefits of capitalism to subsequent generations.

Think back, if there's no money for insurance; there's probably no money for airplane tickets. However, if the government would quit trying to buy friends in third world countries and instead use that money to send America's indigent to the third world countries, that just might work? America's indigents would be rich by comparison and America would be rid of old deadbeat sickos.

I'm not going to call anybody names on this website. If folks want to believe that the healthcare bill will somehow lead to gun control thats fine. The issue I have is that if you believe this will be the case with this piece of lesgislation you'll probably believe it can happen with any piece of lesgislation. This will open up everything that comes out of Washington DC for discussion on this website. There are plenty of other websites out there for topics such as these..
