Re: .45 200gr SWC bullet measurements
On a Bushwhacker 200 g lswc I get about 0.638" overall, and 0.325" for the driving band (base to top of top land). Subtracting gives 0.313" for the nose - the part that is 0.331" on your drawing. Hope this helps.

AndyC,
Keep us posted as to what you find works for you. I also have a RIA Tac and recently purchased the same Lee 6 cavity mold. I have poured about 500 bullets but have not loaded any yet.
My RIA seems to favor bullets with a diameter of .451 as opposed to .452 which is what most cast bullets come out of the molds at. I generally load my rounds that have an H&G 68 clone type bullet to an OAL of 1.260.

Wow, you found my picture!AndyC wrote:Thanks very much, guys![]()
I found the dimensions of a Lyman bullet, so I pasted it next to mine:
Here is the original picture I took:

I was unable to get the Lee 200 gr SWC tumble lube design to feed reliably in my .45, so I switched to the Lyman design with the longer nose and never looked back.

Hey Andy,
Did you ever figure out a good COA for the Lee bullet in your RIA? Or are you still prepping for your Cisco certs?
I feel your pain. I am prepping for my CCNA also.
Saul
