It measures an actual 35 inches from the buckle to the center hole. Inside is fully lined in smooth leather.
The snaps behind the buckle allow you to change the buckle or retainer easily. This is a nice sturdy belt in good condition, I just don't wear it much since my matching color Yaqui slide was lost out of my range bag. Never used with metal or plastic holster clips, only leather on leather, so, no major wear marks or gouges.
