Howdy Yall,
I'm sure this is a commonly asked question but I haven't found the product quite yet. Do any of yall have a safe or just locking metal box that fits under a seat (my rear seat)...meaning it's only a few inches high and opens from the front? I'd like to install one so I can lock a pistol or two up when I'm away fro my truck for a while.
Thanks!

I have one of these in my truck for times when I need to leave the gun in there. It's a Nano Vault I picked up at academy.TexasAggie09 wrote:Do any of yall have a safe or just locking metal box that fits under a seat (my rear seat)...meaning it's only a few inches high and opens from the front? !
It doesn't bolt down but is has a cable to secure it to something sturdy like the frame of the seat.

I also have a nano-vault. It's been a great purchase for my Subaru as it's the only thing that will fit under the seat (passenger seat from the rear...unfortunately nothing will fit under the driver's seat from the front). I'm awaiting delivery of a new F150, so I'm going to check into console vaults or something similar but use the nano-vault in the meantime.
Edited to add: Oh, and I believe you may be able to bolt it down through some holes in the bottom of the safe, but it does take a little room to open since it's a clamshell design.

The keyed Nano is only $20 at Academy but the combo lock costs more.
