Congerats LT. Although you never retire from doing the Lords work, I am sure you can at least have that occasional date with your wife.

Congrats to you, LT! I bet you stay busier than ever, though.
Re: Official breaking news.
May be busier but it will be less stress.

I actually had a little advance "notice" of this, when LT and I were at lunch earlier in the week, but I will say it here anyway:
Congratulations...my friend, I wish the best for you, your retirement...and the new path you take to serve our Lord.

Sure enjoied our time. Wish I had been able to go train a little w/ you. 3 funerals in one week kinda loaded the preachers boat.flintknapper wrote:I actually had a little advance "notice" of this, when LT and I were at lunch earlier in the week, but I will say it here anyway:

Can't ever retire from preaching, not really, but congrats!
I go through Ida sometimes, I think I know where that church is (or was).

Re: Official breaking news.
Correct. Only the Pastoral Ministry. I will preach for any Preacher that is out for vacation, revival, sick or any other reason.Bullwhip wrote:Can't ever retire from preaching, not really, but congrats!

As little as that place is I got a PM from one on the board that grew up there.
We reminissed about some of his kin that went to church there when I was there.
