Whenever nothing seems to hold, even liquid nails, I finally settle with 2 part epoxy glue. I recently noticed that Gorilla has started marketing that type of glue, in addition to their regular stuff. Their epoxy sets in 5 minutes. Used some yesterday, after liquid nails failed.
