CHL expiration

Post by Venus Pax »

My CHL expired in Sept. I recall someone from this forum telling me that I had 90 days past expiration to take the class & renew. Is this accurate?
I've signed up for a renewal class on Nov. 13, and wanted to make sure that I can do this rather than retake teh whole thing.

Thanx!

You can renew up to one year after expiration so you are fine.

Thanks, Charles.
I signed up for a class Nov. 13. Looking forward to carrying outside of my car & house again.

They should have notified you of the expiration about 6 months in advance of the date. Remember all that you can't carry if the license is expired, But I presume you can continue to keep a concealed pistol in the car.
