Well, if they're Nerf guns it's ok. As long as you have some sort of warning before it goes off so they don't get too scared and have a heart attack. And it can't be one of those startling alerts, either -- you need to use a calming warning siren, else the warning about not having a heart attack might give them a heart attack.AJ80 wrote:So I guess gun turrets that shoot at anything that moves are out of the question...

I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

1: Automatic gun turret with Nerf-type gun attached.
2: Warning in a soft voice clearly stating that no bodily injury will occur upon impact of the harmless projectiles... or is "impact" too strong of a word?
Am I missing anything?

Hmmm, sounds familiar. We are constantly advising homeowners to protect their property and the contents of their shed or garage, however, a commonsense approach needs to be taken.

I know! For being common, there sure does seem to be a lack of it.Fangs wrote:Hmmm, sounds familiar. We are constantly advising homeowners to protect their property and the contents of their shed or garage, however, a commonsense approach needs to be taken.
