Different answers to the same question from the DPS.

Post by bugsbunny45 »

Ok I am totally confused. I sent two emails over the last five days about not receiving my CHL. The State says the system shows my license was granted on 01-31.
Here is the crazy part. In one e-mail they say our records indicate your license was issued on 1/31/2011.Please allow 10-14 business days to receive.
In the latest email they say our records indicate your license was issued on 1/31/11. Please allow 30 days to receive. If you have not received your concealed handgun license 30 days after issuance. Please contact the department.
Both e-mails came from the same person.

I think they are going to try to charge me a lost license fee after the 30 day limit. :mad5 :mad5

I am scared if I send another email I will get a third answer.

They're saying the normal delivery time is between 10-14 days, but you must wait 30 days before they can say it was lost in the mail. What's the issue?

they won't charge you, once you hit the 30 day mark, they will print a new license for free.
