I would like to personally say thank you to all the LEO on this site and those not on this site for the job y'all do everyday. You put yourself in harms way everyday and stories like the one above show that there are animals out there that want nothing more than to end your lives. Be safe out there!

Firefighters are not LEOs, but they deserve a public "Thank You" as well.
Galveston firefighters helped with a special delivery on Monday morning by delivering a baby boy on the side of Broadway Boulevard. "This is exactly what we train for! We can't train for every possible scenario, but we can train to expect the unexpected and be ready to tackle the situation at hand," said Galveston Fire Chief Jeff Smith.
