:mad5 furious at the stupidity exhibited by the current students at my alma mater. Same old, tired arguments.

But at least Charles countered with the truth and the interviewer even said "Charles makes some good points"

The student president slipped and said he is not against student 21 and older to carry on campus, then corrected himself and said outside campus. So what is the difference? CHLer can carry on campus grounds but not in buildings. I could be 100 legal to carry there and talk to the folks and tell them do you think it is illegal to carry on this side of the Campus? Most likely the Anti are living in denial.

Restriction does not stop someone to shoot up the school or even a Hospital, last I heard a guy when told his terminal Mom would not survive, pulled a gun shot at the Dr. Shot his beloved Mom and self-terminated. Did he need a CHL, did he care about a 30.06 notice, or gun free zone? NOPE!

How about the Professor who shot up faculty members, did she need a CHL, did she have one? NOPE!

Those who are Anti do not think beyond their fear. Do criminals and/or determined Mass shooters fear the law, or have concern for respecting the law?

What about Utah and Colorado, Do their Universities suffer daily shootings and Mass Murders on each Drunken Saturdays?

I didn't think the sound bites were too bad. They started out with the woman who said I'm going to get one as soon as I'm 21... The rest were fairly balanced between yes/no/maybe and didn't reflect outrageous ignorance, given that 98% of the population doesn't really think much about this on a day to day basis.

Chas. was great getting the points across in a factual way. Prince didn't come across as rabid anti fear monger...just woefully misinformed. No doubt the fairly balanced handling of this was due to it being a Fox affiliate. How do you think it would have gone on MSNBC? Then again O'Reilly would probably be against it, so I withdraw my praise for Fox...

Charles did a great job with the interview! :txflag:

I wish that the UH assistant professor they had on the phone would have been the one to debate Charles. Prince seemed very misinformed in his position.

Thanks for the comments guys. Just as the interview started, I got a loud blast of feedback in my earpiece. I'm surprised I didn't instinctively snatch it from my ear. Wouldn't that have looked great?

Is there a way for us who missed it to hear a recording?

I don't know how long it will be up. I tried to embed the video, but it didn't work and I don't have time to figure out why.
