I don't believe I've ever known a person who reloaded for .357 Sig. Really, I don't even know anyone who even has a firearm in that caliber, aside from cops who had them as a duty weapon a while back.

Sorry I don't have anything more for you. Your post was getting very lonely down here without a reply, so I figured I'd bump it up a bit. If you're ever up in Austin, let me know. I have 15 pieces of .357 Sig range brass sitting up on my shelf with nothing to do.

I own a Sig P239 in .357 Sig (so NcongruNt, now you know someone who does - it's my EDC), but I don't do any reloading. I've read that it's not easy to do because of the bottleneck cartridge. I bought a thousand rounds of FMJ reloads from Georgia Arms a while ago, so it obviously can be done.

Over on the http://handgunsandammo.proboards.com/index.cgi?" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, there were a couple guys who reloaded 357 Sig. I haven't been there in a long time so don't know if they are still posting, but one of them went by the screen name "Twoguns." They indicated the bottleneck was not that big a deal.

Hope this helps.

Probably because dealing with necked pistol casings is a royal pain. I'm not saying you can't reload 357SIG (I don't), but it requires a lot of care and attention to make sure there's no brass fracturing at the neck and then to make sure everything is properly resized again. There's also the issue of stress on the casing. I've been told you shouldn't reload 357SIG casings more than 3 or 4 times, due to high pressure effects on the casing.

I think 357SIG is an interesting round, built for a very specific purpose, but it's more of a niche caliber IMHO. However, there are people that disagree, and say that you can just resize .40S&W brass... here's a thread from Brian Enos' forum: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.p ... 74818&st=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've been waiting all day for a response from a friend in Tenn. I knew he reloaded 357 Sig so I sent him a message and this is his reply.
Power Pistol is my favorite. I also use Bullseye (when I can find it), Universal and VV N350.

Google M. D. Smith and you will find some great loads for just about anything.

If he wants exact loads I can get them for you tomorrow as they are out in my garage and its a detached garage. I usually only use 115 and 124-5gr bullets. Once in a while I will try some smaller 90-95 bullets but not often. I never load a max load though. I'm always 15-20% under at least.
