I can believe it. Everytime I see one in a movie or tv show I tell my wife "Thats a Glock". It happens so often I think she has tired of it.

Kudos to you sir for having such sharp eyes.
I always try to determine what brand/model of handgun is being used, but in the
quick cuts that are common in movies one black semi-auto pistol can look
like any other black semi-auto pistol.

What I love is when they're carrying glocks, but if you look closely when they're shooting, sometimes they turn into berettas! Guess the armorer didn't have glocks equipped for blanks on that day of filming...

No the best part about movie Glocks is when the hero cocks the hammer on his Glock just before threatening the bad guy with some pithy one-liner.

I watched either the Fugitive or US Marshalls the other night and noticed that Tommy Lee Jones' character racks the slide every time he touches the Glock. I guess FBI agents don't carry with one in the chamber..austinrealtor wrote:No the best part about movie Glocks is when the hero cocks the hammer on his Glock just before threatening the bad guy with some pithy one-liner.

I have posted this before but if you are familiar with the IMDB.COM (Internet Movie DataBase) you also may want to visit the IMFDB (Internet Movie Firearms DataBase) http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Main_Page" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Really handy "What kind of gun was that?" source of info for practically any show or movie.
Here's a good entry with loads of weapons - they get EXTREMELY detailed as to the modifications of the weapons:
