An incident on the front steps of the FUMC here in little 'ol Rusk, TX about three years ago is what prompted Mrs. Oldgringo and me to get our CH Licenses.
We were accosted by some meth head as we were about to enter the sanctuary. The situation could have got ugly. Fortunately, the Rev. and City Attorney came around the corner and the situation deescalated. After that, I said "Nevermore". We're not 'spring chickens', my 1911 Compact goes with me OR we don't go.
The good people of Georgia have to make their own decisions.
