TSRA Annual Meeting and TexasCHLforum Table

Post by tomc »

To all who were planning on attending the TSRA annual meeting the second weekend in March and visiting with fellow TexasCHLforum members at our table at the Gun Show that is normally held at the same time, the Gun Show will not be held this year due to a scheduling conflict with other DFW area gun shows at the same time. Hopefully, the scheduling problem will be worked out next year.

There are several of us who will be attending the meeting anyway, and plan on getting together at the friends dinner on Friday night, the 11th. So far, Crossfire, Marty, Stevie-D and family and I plan on attending the dinner to socialize. We've generally been able to commondeer a table for all of us in the past and we hope to do so again. Please post a reply to this thread if you are also planning to attend and we'll try to fit you in with our group.

Hope to see you there!

Tom

Not being a member, I had no idea this is being held two miles from my house.

So you're gonna join the TSRA? Tomorrow?
Join the NRA or upgrade your membership today. Support the Texas Firearms Coalition and subscribe to the Podcast.
I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

In my time here, I have seen some things that have not convinced me that I agree 100% with the "goals" of the TSRA.

....but, I've recently renewed my NRA and GOA membership and I might just join the TSRA to make Mr Cotton aware of at least one Open Carry proponent in the DFW area

Don't join because of me. I have no connection with TSRA other than being a member and again serving as pro bono legislative counsel.

FYI folks...

I plan to be in a little better health this year and not wimp out like I did last year in the middle of that event...

I've got tickets to all the dinners, lunches, and the Banquet for the weekend...

Once I figure out a source for the seminars and other discussion events and the rooms they are to be held in, it should be another great weekend, and I look forward to seeing all the usual folks, and the new folks to the forum and the TSRA there that weekend...

Count Chemist45 and myself in for the dinner. Not sure how much else we'll be attending, but we always enjoy the dinner and company.

I'm still looking, but if anyone knows where I can get a conference schedule (seminars, discussions, etc etc etc) for the weekend, please give me a vector to that intercept...

I didn't see this thread until this morning, but I had lunch with Crossfire and Marty yesterday, and they asked if we were coming. I don't have anything on my calendar for then, so we're going to try and be there.

Do I have to register as an attendee, pay in advance, or anything like that? Or, can we just show up and pay for dinner then?

If you can call the main office there at the TSRA, and the folks there will get you all signed up and take your $$$ there on the spot...We pick up our tickets and passes at the "will call" on Friday afternoon when we usually roll in there...

We'll be going to the Friday dinner, lunch Saturday with Jerry Patterson, and the banquet Saturday night...

It'll be good to see you there TAM!!! I look forward to it!!!

Unfortunately... change of plans. We're not going to be able to make it to the dinner or the meeting. Maybe next year. We'll be there in spirit. Have a bite of dessert for us.
