...Rodney King was administered his "wooden shampoo." I lived in L.A. at the time. My wife keeps up with L.A. area news every day, perusing the L.A. Times and Pasadena Star News websites to see what's going "back home."
She just told me this morning that she read where King got stopped again by Arcadia P.D. for "driving erratically." He had an expired license. His girlfriend (lucky woman that she is) drove him home. This is but one of many run-ins with the law he's had since his infamous beating 20 years ago.
I know what happened. He was drunk (again). He got stopped (again). And the police let him go (again) because throwing his worthless behind in jail isn't worth the poo storm that would descend on them if they didn't.

and now he's broke. What a sad case.King was awarded $3.8 million in a civil case
I guess it goes to prove that you can't "beat some sense" into a person.
