A National Guard unit was officially sworn-in for duty Sunday.
...
With this unit, the National Guard can recruit from the Austin area
News was skimpy on details, I'm not sure if they were just for "natural disasters" (in Austin?) or couldn't afford gas all the way to border towns, or just there to keep Perry and Legislators in line, or pre-placed, like at Kent State, in fear by Obama for when the revolution begins after seeing what's happening in the Mid-East .. (but his hotel stay in Washington is only paid up until 2012 anyway, so he'll be leaving anyway, no revolution needed)

But, I'd join the TEXAS STATE GUARD if I was able and qualified http://www.txsg.state.tx.us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Texas, it's a whole 'nuther country
