I gotta say, this and the other thread running now on articles by SMU journalism majors are awfully disappointing.

There is no depth, nothing really inquisitive about the article.
It appears to be practice for practice sake.
Don't get me wrong, I know they are rookies who need practice and I don't really know how much play the SMU rag gets,
but these short opinion pieces with no serious research and nothing but a bunch of thoughts thrown down to fill space on a subject
so important, IMO, do nothing.
