President Obama wrote an op-ed piece for the Arizona Daily Star yesterday. In it, he advocates the expansion of NICS checks, obliquely references the so-called "gun hole loophole", and calls for "common sense" gun reforms again. Any time this man or his cohorts invokes the term "common sense", I cringe.
I wonder if this is his opening shot, or perhaps a trial balloon, on a new gun control policy.

Interesting that Obama states "we should start by enforcing the laws on the books." Wonder how he thinks that statement doesn't apply to the DOMA, or the law requiring construction of a border fence, or the voting rights laws requiring prosecution of the Black Panthers in Philadelphia. It's hard not being sarcastic about little King Hussein. Poor Barry, he's just not up to the job of President of the United States.
