I beg the moderators' indulgence on this one. It is Highly political. Has an impact on the public welfare of all real property owners, but is not firearms related other than a common slang name for surveying instruments is "Gun".

When contacting your reps and senators about other bills please put a request for them to vote NO on this bill.
It would adversely affect the services you might need from several groups of professionals, mine among them.
I am a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas and 4 other states.
