Manufactued in 1946. H&R Receiver and Barrel. Throat guages a "0" and the barrel guages a "2" New Springfield Armory bolt assembly and trigger group. New Birch Hardwood stock - hand fitted. Stock and finish is in like new condition. Very nice rifle. Shows as good as it shoots. Including several E Clips. Sorry for the poor photos, all I have is my phone. Will send better pictures if needed.

nice M1 Garand you got there. if i remember correctly, the H&Rs are a bit harder to come by, aren't they? i picked up a Springfield (mfg 1944) as a gift for my dad not too long ago, hell of a fun gun to shoot.
