I appreciate the civility here
I just wanted to say how thankful I am for this resource. I recently have been on some other gun forum sites where drama, racism, bigotry, tinfoil hat conspiracy theories, and bullying seem to be really common. It so nice to come back here each day and find calm discussion without the insults. Even when there are disagreements about opinions, I have to say it's handled really well. My thanks to all of you and to the mods who make this a great place to spend time, learn, and join in a discussion from time to time. Keep up the fantastic work!

Couldn't agree more. I rarely venture into other gun-related sites unless I'm looking for very specific information on a particular type of firearm or something and can't find an answer here.
This site has taught me much more than my initial class and two renewals all combined - and inspired me to get my CHL instructor certification.
Beyond even the legal discussions and firearms-related minutae, a great majority of the members here exhibit good "character" (note: trying to use an overused word in its original, intended meaning). Civility is a great description as well. Another way to say it is the majority of members here are just "good people" and it shows.
Proud to be among y'all

The mods actually moderate here and shut it down quick...I think they do a great job of keeping the peace on hot topics...even if I have had my hand slapped a couple of times.

I agree, I like the respect shown on this forum.
