I Did My Wally Walk...... Do I Need A Lawyer?

Post by sugar land dave »

Instead of walking around the Wally World, I went to my local bank. Then I took my better half over to her bank. After that I looked for some supplies at Home Depot. Finally tonight I went to the Fountains AMC Theater where there was an 8 1/2 by 11" 30.06 appearing paper sign on a few of the doors at shoe-level. Since I am not a mouse, I could not read the 1/4" lettering. Inside I visited with the ticket sellers and joked with the Constable standing by the ticket-counter. As I wished him well and headed for my theater he gave me a friendly pat on the shoulder.

After all of this, not once did my firearm jump out of it's holster by itself. No one screamed: "He's got a gun!" It was just a normal seeming day.

Having such a normal day while carrying must be against some law of man or nature, so do I need a lawyer? ;-)

Congrats!

You obviously never encountered any children in your sojourn, however. According to the anti's, it's the presence of children that makes your gun jump out of its' holster and do bad things and/or makes an otherwise normal, law abiding citizen a crazed, maniacal shooter. The definition of "children", of course, includes college aged students.

Here's to hoping you never encounter children in your daily travels! :cheers2:

Well guys who do security at the theaters get very bored, so I was just doing my civic duty. He rather enjoyed the interruption, and I thought it would be a good test for me. Didn't someone on the forum once say that you should perform under stress to get better?

But the real question is: Were you two fisting it? ie Did you have one in the holster and your new LCP in your pocket? :thumbs2:

The other guns are P95DC and 1911 Hi-Cap (14 rnds 45) so they might be a little hard to conceal even with a Smart Carry. Of course I might get more popular with the ladies since I would look well prepared!

BTW, I put 50 FMJ down the pipe on the LCP today. No FTF or FTE though it did surprise me the first shot with a crisp recoil. The 9mm and 45 are so smooth that I had become lazy with my grip. On all following shots the recoil was not noticed. I'd also like to say that the accuracy of the gun surprised me. Even at 60 feet. I was still hitting the target. with a reasonable group, something which I would not have suspected possible.
