Experience with Buds gun shop?

I have never ordered from Bud's, but they seem like that have an excellent selection and very good prices. I think that it was very good that they announced that there were problems with their credit card payments and they took corrective action to fix them.

FYI I have received a lot of new and some used guns as transfers, Bud's is a good place to deal with. They are sometimes slow due to the sheer volume of sales they get, but their prices are real good. Since they do not charge sales tax it is hard to beat their prices.

If they don't collect Texas sales tax make sure you fill out a 01-156 form to stay legal.

I do not think that applies to me, I have a Texas tax license and I collect tax on everything I sell. Since customers buy from Bud's and I am just doing a transfer I am not required to do anything as far as I know. The transfer fee I charge is not taxable either.

I do what I am required to do, I am not posting about breaking any laws, I'm not sure where you got that from. What the customers do is up to them, I have no control over what they chose to do.

Been here all my life, first I ever heard of that ridiculous little piece of paper. Somebody honestly expects people to pay tax on items they buy elsewhere and use here?

As to the OP, Bud's is pretty straight up from everything I have been told. Personally I use Gallery of Guns. That way, I get to go see a local guy and give him his "markup"

I have purchased a number of guns from Bud's and have had an equal number of good experiences with them. A major plus in their favor is that many, if not most of their guns ship for free.

Just an update to the OP. The order "went to shipping" Friday, but hasn't actually shipped yet. I was hoping to get it in this week, but looks like early next week.

I ordered for the first time from Bud's on Wednesday this last week. It was for two guns. One arrived the next day on Thursday, the other arrived on Friday. Seemed pretty fast to me. I did use a credit card though, and not ACH.
