WTB: Tripp 1911 mags 9mm 9 rounds

Post by solaritx »

Looking to buy a few Tripp 9mm 9 round mags. (not interested in the 10 rounders) If you have any that you are interested in letting go (or know where I might get some) let me know.

Thanks

Just curious as to why the 9 rounders. I have the Tripp 10 rounders and work great. Only issue I have is removing a 3/4 full mag sometimes a round will come out the mag. loose when I do a mag change with retention. that seems to be getting better after use. I talked to them about it and it is a problem they said.

gives option of shooting match with 10 instead of 11 (1 in pipe and 9 in mag) but other mags have to be the same so that is reason for 9 rd mags.

Have to shoot the match with the same all the way through, but then this gives the option of shooting gun at start with 11 or 10.

AH, gotcha and understand. Same here, I started with several nines but wanted tens so I got some but for match can't mix. I use the nine rounders to load up the 1911 and the change for a 10 rounder to give me the 11. so the other mag is just to do first load.
