Question though, I know in this forum the likelihood is low, but technically the taser is "registered" to you and the cartridges shoot out ID tags, couldn't that somehow be traced to you in case of a felony? just wondering.

Hmmm...I didn't known the civilian ones had confetti....seems like a headache for non LEO issued weapons.

The civilian models do have the Anti-Felon Tags in them. (confetti)
When you sell one, you simply fill out a transfer form and send it in to TASER if you so choose. The registration is only assigned to the cartridge that is currently in it. If you buy more cartridges you are supposed to register them with TASER under your name.

Okie dokie, I was just making sure, didn't want you to get in trouble for something you didn't do, if that's the case, that's a dang good deal for the TASER when they retail for 350
