Stephen Colbert's character on the Colbert Report is supposed to be a right-wing pundit,
but while purporting to be this, he slips in a lot of satire that is anti-conservative.

Of course the Dems get their share of comeuppance jokes as well.

One of the props he uses occasionally on the show is his revolver named "Sweetness".
He exhibits bad gun handling when he brandishes this on the show since he always has his
finger on the trigger, and sweeps the audience and cameramen.

Then he proceeds to make outrageous statements about gun issues. But it's all part of the
fun.

Since the show airs from NYC, I'm surprised Mayor Bloomberg's LEO's haven't hassled him
in some way about the gun.

When you read the stats, notice the comments after "capacity" of his revolver.
