ROANOKE, Va. — Most families of victims of the Virginia Tech shootings have agreed to an $11 million state settlement to compensate families who lost loved ones, pay survivors' medical costs and avoid a court battle over whether anyone besides the gunman was to blame.

2 lawsuits still pending, though money can't replace family (wish I could be on the juries, how's a million bucks a minute for the over 2 hours between the first shooting until Cho stopped?)

Meanwhile, the government is still fining the school (taxpayers will pay)

I have had post deleted. It is usually because my post may incite a riot...LOL. Sometimes it is because the mods think I am being to "mean". What ever the reason, I just roll with the punches. It is their forum to run as they please. Your registration looks to be new. You might want to read the posting rules. This forum has some real tight guidelines about posting. It use to bug me, but after awhile I started thinking it was pretty cool to have a forum where the members aren't attacking each other all the time. You also never have to worry about opening your browser in front of your kids around this forum either. It is actually refreshing for the interweb... .

I bet they are beginning to wonder how to get rid of the conservatives they have attracted lately? Maybe the replies some here are posting will make others reading that garbage think about both sides, but I have serious doubts we are getting anywhere with the authors. The emotions on the anti carry side are just bursting forth in their every sentence. :banghead:

I wanted to post a reply about how sorry I am that their kids were too emotional or irresponsible to properly handle a firearm while in college, and that it might have something to do with their parenting skills... but I'll just leave it here instead.
