The madness never ends: Piñatas are now too violent

Post by seamusTX »

According to a popular blogger, some parents (known in polite circles as "idiots"), now consider piñatas too violent.

The approved type of piñata apparently discharges its contents when children pull a string.

Also PETA has banned "pin the tail on the donkey." :banghead:

Oh Gawd...

Let's see... My parents lived with asbestos, lead paint, real piñatas, played with mercury, and a dozen other things now deemed "dangerous". They are still alive and productive members of society (unless it's all been a dream because I've been sniffing model glue).

I remember when you could buy spray paint and model glue without having to show ID........of course all I ever did with it was repaint my bicycle and make plastic models.

Ban Pinatas and only criminals will beat pinatas.

If pinatas are banned, the only thing left to do down here for a child's party is yell at the relatives and drink copiuos amonts of beer.

Yelling at the relatives and drinking copious amounts of beer has banned because it might offend someone.

Like the door gunner in FMJ said, "Easy! You just don't lead 'em so much!"

That reminds me. Does anyone else think an Easter egg shoot would be more fun than Easter egg hide-and-seek?
