In Streetsboro, Ohio (middle of nowhere), Thursday a 21-year-old man was charged with misdemeanor negligent assault after he allegedly discharged a shotgun through the floor of his apartment and hit a woman on the floor below.
Amazingly enough, the incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Fear, anger, hatred, and greed. The devil's all-you-can-eat buffet.
Re: OH: Man charged with negligently shooting neighbor
Besides keeping your booger hook off the bang switch, apartment living requires a little thought as to just what is a safe direciton to keep that muzzle pointed.
There may be people above and/or below you, to either side, and maybe behind.
In most places, keeping the gun pointed more or less straight up or down is a reasonably safe direction. Not always the case in apartments.
Firing through the floor and hitting the neighbor below . . .
Besides risking someone's life and proving what an imbecile you are, it gives the antis another chance to say, "SEE? Guns are an accident waiting to happen!"

Bugs me when they use the term "accidentally" when it is a negligent discharge.

This reminds me of a song by Paul Simon: "One man's ceiling is another man's floor."
