She was absolutely correct.

I wish there was a "smily" for happy with tears. Her situation was a horrible one (both parents killed), but she just turned that into a great positive for the rest of us.

EDIT for grammar

Huh? Wasn't TX leg, it was U.S. house before Chuckie got promoted to senate. Shumer was sitting right up front behind the desk. You see him sitting there looking disgusted about 1:50 in the video.

Right you are, plus, early in her testimony she makes reference to their just having heard Jim Brady's testimony.

Here are a couple of screenshots of Chucky's mugly ug....

Every time I watch that, I get the warm fuzzies. especially the last statement.

That is truly what the second amendment is for. God Bless Dr. Hupp. She gets it!

She's an impressive woman. I had a chance to speak with her at the TSRA convention a couple of years ago. I had my son with me, and she zeroed in on him. He told her that he had just written a paper about the RKBA for a class at TCC, and she said, "you should have called me. I would love to speak to your class." She is very interested in educating young people about their 2nd Amendment rights.

That brought tears to me eyes. She can come to any party I have packing any day. And that last statement says it all folks. People better sit up and listen and pay attention to what is going on in this country. Because she said it right in those last words.
