H&G 68 clone group buy gathering momentum again.
At castboolits.gunloads.com under the catagory of 'Group Buy Discussions', see the thread titled 'Rerun: Miha H&G 68 brass 4 cavity'.
The blocks are brass and ships w/o handles. Miha offers handles also. Lee six cavity handles will, supposedly, fit. Dunno.
Hope that will help.

It takes a few weeks from commitment to payment.
Pmt is via PayPal.
My last buy was about $ 100.00 for the blocks.

Re: Classic .45acp mold
Well, I'm late to this party, but I got in on one of the cast boolits group buys for Miha's H&G 68 clone. That brass mold is a work of art, and after casting with it, I don't like to cast with my aluminum molds much anymore.
The bullet looks/acts like the originals. I've never been the steward of one of the original H&G's, but this is the next best thing. I got a 4-cavity, and it will produce as fast as you can pour. Once it gets up to temp, its smooth and rhythmic, with a perfect release every time.
My last casting session with it was pure nirvana. I made about 30# of boolits with only 5-6 rejects when I went to lube, size. Yes, I was throwing obvious bad pours back in the pot during the session, but still, I think that reject rate was incredible.
All that to say....get in on a group buy on that mold--you'll thank yourself later.

Thanks again. I'm glad I got the mold and see why everyone raves about his molds.Jumping Frog wrote:Thanks for the head's up. I jumped onto the buy list.saltydog452 wrote:H&G 68 clone group buy gathering momentum again.
