Loaded Liberal: I agree with what you just said, except for the "Nixonian plot to spy." I never suggested such a thing. My original point is still valid: this matter enables the dems to point to another bad republican. And the dems are going to pursue it, for the political gain to be reaped. Agreed that Ensign gave them the rope, and acted horribly. He should have been gone years ago. Most conservatives would agree that he should already be long gone. That's a possible difference with the dems; they tend to cover for their own.
