Kids at the range

Post by RottenApple »

Took these a couple days ago at GPSR. Sam and Will are shooting Crickett "My First Rifle" .22LRs and loving every minute of it. Amazingly enough they were shooting 50yrds and getting some pretty good hits.

Sure is. Reminds me of taking my own kiddos to the range when they were younger.
The only difference is they started out with a. 45 cause that's all I had at the time. :fire

And look at that trigger-finger discipline in the first photo!

Good on ya, Dad!

Funny you mention that. Will loves to shoot my 9mm and has fired my .45 several times. Though I think the .45 surprises him a lot. LOL

My boys LOVED shootng the .22 this past fall.

Connor stated he wants to be on "Top Shot" when he gets older. If it's still on.

I took my step daughter to the range a couple of weeks ago for the first time and that was the one thing I could not get into her head. She shot great but as soon as she picked up the pistol her finger went for the trigger. :banghead:

There will be a refresher course before we go again. :nono:

I like it even though I can't shoot surplus 7.62x54r FMJ ammo there. I gotta buy the more expensive soft point ammo. BTW, the range is Garland Public Shooting Range (http://www.eaglepeakshootingrange.com/gpsr/gpsr.htm).
