Blatant Lies and antigun propaganda from ABC

This is deliberate propaganda by ABC, presented without challenge. ABC doing it's part to disarm Americans.
From the article:
He urges Muslims to pursue attacks with whatever is available. "Let's take America as an example. America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms. You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle, without a background check, and most likely without having to show an identification card. So what are you waiting for?"

This just shows how little the jihadis understand about the U.S. and how stupid the followers are.
Gadahn says “it's just a matter of entrusting the matter to Allah”.
I will trust Kimber, Winchester, Beretta and others.
I don’t think it would be as easy here as in India or some other places.
P.S. I’ve always wanted to use that banana but never could come up with a place it fit.

I'd be willing to bet that he's on this administrations payroll.

Those are not ABC's words. That is the propaganda that Al Qaeda is putting on THEIR web site. ABC has nothing to do with it. I had seen that same article elsewhere.VMI77 wrote:http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/al-qaeda- ... d=13704264

Lots of terrorist threats made every month. Why publicize this one so heavily? Because it fits the political narrative of a "gun show loophole"

Re: Blatant Lies and antigun propaganda from ABC
I read that story and was left thinking along similar lines as the OP. The PROPER thing to do would have been to point out the difficulty of buying fully automatic weapons and the high costs and paperwork involved. Its not so much that the network said it, but that they left it as if it were a FACT. That is what makes it so irritating. A lot of mis-informed Americans already believe you can just walk into a gunshow or gunstore and walk right out with a machinegun, when we know that simply isn't quite right...our national media, presenting journalism at its finest. Yeah, right...

Some of you may be aware of Alex Jones. He's a talk show host/rabblerouser based in Austin.
He may be described by some as a wild-eyed, fast-talking conspiracy theorist, but sometimes I wonder
if he does have the inside track on some of our government's backroom doings.
On his show today, he discussed this very jihadist and the message in the piece. He said that the American imam
in questions used to roll Muslims on the street (beat them up) before he decided to "join" Islam. Jones said that
this kind of propaganda is a "false flag" kind of operation, designed to put fear into sheeple in order to lay the
groundwork for more restrictive gun control.
Could this ad be an example of Obama's working "under the radar" on gun control?
I don't ascribe to all of Alex Jones' theories - I'm just relaying to y'all what I heard him say on this specific ad.

So I guess Glenn Beck and The Blaze are on Obama payroll as well seeing as how they reported the story and didn't correct the terrorist misinformationMcKnife wrote:Yes.Could this ad be an example of Obama's working "under the radar" on gun control?

Come on that is pure bull suggesting he has the media in his pocket like that, are they more friendly to him, maybe. But it seems people have really short memories. Do I need to remind everyone the media hysteria leading up to the Iraq invasion, everyone in the media was biting hook, line and sinker the "WMD threat" but I guess these same news organizations were in the pocket of Bush as well.

I'm shocked!
Well....no, not really.
This is the network that actually had the audacity to run this garbage as a piece of "journalistic reporting" : http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=7298996&page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The mainstream media is to "news" what the World Wrestling Entertainment corp is to wrestling.
Both select their "stars" largely for looks and the ability to put on an act, and the "prettier" the performer the better. Both incorporate elements of "realism" to maintain a facade of legitimacy. Both are scripted, driven by the agendas of their owners, and tailor their efforts to a particular audience.
The big difference is that the WWE came out long ago and admitted they were simply an "entertainment" organization and not a true "wrestling" organization, which was no big surprise. The mainstream media, on the other hand, still expects people to take them for objective journalists.

What you call things is important, because it shapes how people think of them.
That's why I refuse to use their legitimate sounding title of "mainstream media", which they're not, and instead use "leftstream media" which they are.

I don't think he thinks its just an Obama agenda. Alex contends that it (erosion of libertys) is bigger than any one president and overlaps multiple administrations. For some reason few people want to agree with him (Alex) in public but if you listen to him you have begin to question a larger fabric of governmental actions. I think Ron Paul is a filter for Alex.....Alex without the adrenalin. MFMOsurprise_i'm_armed wrote:Some of you may be aware of Alex Jones. He's a talk show host/rabblerouser based in Austin.
